I just downloaded your multiplication 101 times table software. It was exactly what I was looking for. I’m using it for my first grade daughter. If you’re thinking of upgrading this software, may I make a few suggestions.

1. Add division (through 12), addition and subtraction (through 10+10=20).

2. Add squares and square roots through 25×25=625

3. Allow options for the following:

addition only

subtraction only

addition and subtraction only

multiplication only

division only

multiplication and division only

squares only (13 to 25)

square roots only (169 to 625)

squares and square roots only

multplication, division, squares, square roots only

multiplication, division, addition, subtraction only

everything random questions

4. Store information for various users so that they can immediately be quizzed in their weak areas using their settings and their previous missed problems.

5. Set time limits for answers before counted wrong automatically.

6. Make multiplication, division so that you can focus on specific areas like 9s only or 7s through 9s.

7. Press enter after each answer. The way it is now, if the answer requires a 3 digit number and you think it is only 2 digit, the program will not move forward. If you accidentally type the wrong number, you cannot correct it. It is automatically counted as wrong.

8. Make it so that you can set pre-timed drills.

9. Make it so that you can set drills of a certain number of problems.

10 Make it a stand alone program that can be run off of a flash drive from any computer without installing.

I know you’re busy. Even a few of these features would be useful. If you do decide to take this on, please send me an email!

]]>Am I right?

]]>I recently found your OfficeSvn and must say I’m very impressed with it. Very handy!

I was wondering if you still have the sourcecode available as i’m curious how you did it and if I could expand it.

Cheers and thanks for a great tool!

]]>Thanks for the feedback, it’s always appreciated.

A feature to test for a newer version upon opening and then ask the user if they would like to update would be a nice enhancement, I will try and get it in the next version (not sure when that will be though).

If your word/excel documents have the subversion needs-lock property set, the documents will be “read only” until you click the Edit button on the toolbar. Clicking edit performs an update and a get-lock operation.

Keep up the good work!

]]>Anyone else interested please contact me.

Cheers, Mhano

]]>Thanks, that solved the problem!

However, I am still very interested in the source code. We would like to extract the log message and insert it into the document before it is committed – without knowing much about office automation, this looks like it would not require too much more effort if it could be based on your code.

Cheers,

Allan

]]>Thanks for your interest in the software.

I had that bug in an early version. I thought I had fixed it. I’ve added some additional code to cleanup the command bars.

** edit ** Please download latest version.
